As we Ascend let us revere Spirit, not the messenger

“As more and more of you radiate unconditional love by sending balanced and harmonious energies out into the ethers, it creates what has been called the “Rainbow Bridge.”  This bridge is a pathway of Light, which radiates the higher frequencies of the twelve Rays of this Sub-Universe. We must remember, and this is particularly relevant to those of the Christian faith who celebrate the Ascension of Jeshua on Easter morning, that our own ability to rise does not depend on the teacher.  It depends on how much we have absorbed Spirit from the teachings of this pure Master, or another.  We are not here to follow them, but to become Masters within ourselves.

If we focus only on the Master, then we have missed the point.  They did not come to teach ritual, belief or dogma, but to abolish it.  When one rises in Spirit and continues on an Ascension journey, the Glory and the Beauty of the Path, the Rainbow Bridge around us and within us, is an end in itself, not the teacher. 

It is ego that we are leaving behind us, and it is particularly relevant to reflect on the role of Mary Magdalene as Jeshua left them.  She calmed and counselled them, this “Apostle of the Apostles” as the Gospel of Mary states.  She told them to not be afraid, but to rise up to be the Divine Humans that Jeshua wanted them to be.  With his departure, those who based their existence on ego and pride, in the following of the man Jeshua rather than the Spirit that flowed through him (and also through them, which was the core of his teachings), started petty squabbles within the group, even among family members.  Division, infamy and fear threatened them as each asserted a misguided belief in themselves to be the new leader, absolutely convinced as they were that Jeshua has chosen them.  It was the Magdalene that reminded them of their individual and collective destinies and to go out and teach and that there were no favorites as God loved all, equally.

If one does not embrace Spirit within then one has learned nothing, from anyone.  Revere not the teacher, but the message of Love and Light that they embodied and then look within and rest in the knowing that what lay within them, lies within us as well.

And so it is.
